General Information

This doctorate program is created to fulfill the needs of continuing and adapting to the new law established by the R.D 99/2011, the actual Ph.D. Program in Fundamental Rights and Public Freedom substituted the last Ph.D. Program in Interpretation of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms, which also was adapted according to the laws related below:

Linked Programs (regulated by the Royal Decree 1393/2007):

  • Ph.D. Program in Fundamental Rights and Public Freedom verified by the Universities Council July 29th, 2009. It is important to highlight that this Ph.D. Program is heir to the Program "Interpretation of constitutionally recognized rights and freedoms", it is one of the most ancient Ph.D. programs of this university. Its creation and its implementation dates to the date of completion of the first graduating class of Law at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (academic year 1990-1991). The success of this program, in terms of the number of Ph.Ds who have obtained the degree after completing it, shows the academic and scientific interest and relevance of the current Doctoral Program in Fundamental Rights and Public Freedoms. The training period of this doctoral program is the master's degree in Fundamental Rights and Public Liberties, verified by the Council of Universities on June 1, 2009.
    Program coordinator: Javier Vecina Cifuentes.
