Description

El Grado en Maestro en Educación Infantil habilita para el ejercicio de la enseñanza en la etapa de 0 a 6 años, por lo que se orienta a la formación de los estudiantes en el diseño e implementación de intervenciones de éxito para este determinante periodo para el aprendizaje del individuo. El título forma en las competencias del siglo XXI, tales como los idiomas y las nuevas tecnologías. La dimensión académica se complementa con la realización de prácticas escolares en el plan de estudios y para la realización de proyectos en escuelas en distintas asignaturas.

  • Ser capaz de desenvolverse en las diferentes realidades escolares (rural y urbano, multicultural, regional, internacional, etc.).
  • Conocer los objetivos, contenidos curriculares y criterios de evaluación de la educación infantil.
  • Promover y facilitar los aprendizajes en la primera infancia.
  • Diseñar y regular espacios de aprendizaje en contextos de diversidad.
  • Fomentar la convivencia en el aula y fuera de ella y abordar la resolución pacífica de conflictos.
  • Conocer la evolución del lenguaje en la primera infancia, saber identificar posibles disfunciones y velar por su correcta evolución.
  • Conocer fundamentos de dietética e higiene infantil.
  • Conocer la organización de las escuelas de educación infantil.
  • Actuar como orientador de padres y madres en relación con la educación familiar en el periodo 0-6.
  • Reflexionar sobre las prácticas de aula para innovar y mejorar la labor docente.
  • Adaptarse a los cambios sociales, culturales, académicos, científicos y tecnológicos.

Las competencias son las capacidades para desarrollar diferentes habilidades. El Grado en Maestro en Educación Infantil capacita para el ejercicio de la docencia en esta etapa educativa entre otros en los siguientes aspectos:

  • Tratar a los alumnos de manera coherente, con respeto y consideración, y ser conscientes de su desarrollo como aprendices.
  • Comunicarse con los padres y tutores de manera sensata y efectiva, reconociendo sus roles en el aprendizaje de los alumnos, así como sus derechos, responsabilidades e intereses en el proyecto educativo.
  • Ser conscientes y comprender los valores, principios y metas educativas que se proponen en el real decreto de enseñanzas mínimas de educación infantil.
  • Ser conscientes de la necesidad de establecer adaptaciones curriculares ajustadas al tipo de alumnado y sus necesidades.
  • Entender de qué manera el aprendizaje del alumnado puede verse influido por su desarrollo físico, intelectual, lingüístico, social, cultural y emocional.
  • Ser capaces de fijar objetivos de enseñanza y aprendizaje relevantes para todos los alumnos.
  • Saber utilizar los objetivos de enseñanza y aprendizaje para planificar lecciones, secuencias de lecciones, y orientar la evaluación del alumnado; tener en cuenta y dar apoyos a aquellos alumnos con dificultades, de cualquier grupo étnico, para que progresen adecuadamente.
  • Seleccionar y preparar fuentes de información, y planificar para una organización segura y eficaz.
  • Planificar actividades para que el alumnado tenga experiencias de aprendizaje en contextos no escolares, tales como visitas a museos, teatros, etc. con la colaboración del personal adecuado para cada actividad.
  • Identificar y dar respuesta a la diversidad.

 

El título de Grado de Maestro en Educación Infantil orienta y capacita oficialmente para el ejercicio de la profesión de maestro en educación infantil, profesión regulada por la LOE (art. 93.2 y disposición adicional 9.1), tanto para centros públicos, como centros privados y centros privados concertados. Si bien la salida fundamental es la enseñanza en el segundo ciclo de educación infantil (3-5 años) en las escuelas, también habilita para la primera etapa (0-2 años), desarrollada en las escuelas infantiles.

El Grado permite además el acceso a la administración tanto en el mundo de la enseñanza a través de actividades como la inspección educativa, al que se puede acceder una vez en ejercicio, como a otro tipo de oposiciones. 

Por otro lado, la educación no formal presenta un abanico en expansión de actividades, como la animación sociocultural, las ludotecas y bibliotecas infantiles o el desarrollo de programas de atención a la primera infancia.

Asimismo, y como novedad con respecto a la antigua diplomatura, el grado posibilita el acceso a titulaciones como el Máster en Investigación e Innovación Educativa. Se abre de esta manera la posibilidad de realizar un doctorado sin necesidad de cursar otros estudios adicionales.

 

Access and Registration

Students who wish to begin official degree studies at the University of Castilla-La Mancha may request it through any of the access routes provided for in current regulations.

In the event that they want to pursue direct enrollment studies, they may formalize their enrollment directly in the degrees designated for each academic year and within the established deadlines.

For the rest of the studies, you must pre-register through our Virtual Secretariat within the established deadlines, and must attach the appropriate documentation in each case through the computer application.

If they wish to participate in the readmission processes, they must request it every time there is a new publication of lists and always for options with more preference than the one awarded.

At the time of admission, the student will also receive a registration appointment that can be changed once through our Virtual Secretariat. If you do not formalize your registration within the established period, you will lose your assigned place and it will be offered to students on the waiting list.

Full-time first-year students will enroll in a number of credits no greater than 60 and no less than 48. If their enrollment is part-time, they must enroll in 30 credits. The first-year subjects that are recognized will count for the aforementioned purposes.

The registration fees will depend on the degree of experimental nature of the chosen studies, the number of times each subject is enrolled, the possible credits recognized and the possible exemptions or enrollment bonuses that must be accredited at the time of formalization.

If the student has applied or is going to apply for a scholarship from the general call for aid for university studies of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, they must indicate this at the time of registration, in which case they will only pay the secretarial fees. They may also carry out the payment of the registration fee in one go or split it into a maximum of 10 payments.

Recognition

The Commission for the Recognition and Transfer of Credits of the Degree will study the appropriate recognitions for each academic record, upon request by the student.

Based on the provisions of the UCLM Credit Recognition and Transfer Regulations, up to 6 credits may be recognized for participation in university activities. The number of credits recognized for these activities will be counted among the optional credits required in the corresponding study plan

Mobility

The University of Castilla-la Mancha is firmly committed to international mobility not only in Europe, through the ERASMUS program, but in the rest of the continents through agreements signed with international universities. The UCLM has a Language Center for learning languages, not only English, but also French, German, Italian, Japanese or Arabic, as well as Chinese language and culture through the Confucius Institute.

In addition, the UCLM has a varied offer - which is increasing - of international double degrees, providing the student with professional accreditation in two different countries and therefore facilitating their insertion into the labor market.

Students at UCLM can also choose to participate in national mobility through the SICUE program (System of Exchange between Spanish University Centres), which allows undergraduate students to complete part of their university studies at different Spanish universities. This enables them to experience various teaching systems, as well as the different social and cultural aspects of other regions.

External Practices

External internships in companies and institutions allow students to learn about the business and work reality of their environment, within their respective professions, and facilitate the transition to the job market.

The UCLM has the Employment Information and Promotion Center (CIPE) that helps our students and graduates prepare for their entry into the labor market through the development of skills, contacts with companies and institutions and the use of the appropriate tools. .

Finally, the UCLM has the UCLMEmprende program whose objective is to promote entrepreneurship among students and graduates.
