Esperanza Monedero, researcher in the biomass section of the Renewable Energy Research Institute and member of the UCLM Fuel and Engines Group, has participated in the ASIAXIS project meeting that was held from October 16th to 18th, 2019 in Chelyabinsk, Russia.
The project is part of the Erasmus + program and nine universities are involved: three of them from the European Union and six from Asia.
The objective of the project is to improve teaching programs in thermal power systems with a special emphasis on environmental aspects. In addition, it intends to develop strategies to provide better knowledge and skills to PhD students. All this with the cooperation of the industry stakeholders.
Esperanza Monedero’s contribution was focused on the review of the teaching programs of the participating universities and the development of helpful skills for PhD students. In addition, she participated as a representative of the UCLM in the Workshop aimed to companies and students, where she presented the research work carried out in the biomass section of the Renewable Energy Research Institute.
