Prof. Emilio Gómez-Lázaro and Dr. Serio Martín-Martínez are the guest editors of the Special Issue “Modeling of Variable Renewable Generation: Wind and Solar Photovoltaic Power Plants” of the journal Energies (ISSN 1996-1073), which belongs to the section “Wind, Wave and Tidal Energy”. The main topic of this issue is the modeling of variable renewable energy power plants, specially wind and solar PV, because of their importance in current power systems.
