Professor Emilio Gómez, director of the Renewable Energy Research Institute at UCLM, and professor in the Department of Electrical, Electronic, Automatic, and Communications Engineering and the School of Industrial Engineering of Albacete, presented the latest developments in grid integration technologies for wind generation.
The presentation of the results of the latest research projects in this field took place during the REOLTEC ASSEMBLY & INNOVATION WIND TALKS, held on November 26 at the STATE RESEARCH AGENCY (AEI).
The event aimed to be a forum for debate between basic research conducted by universities and research centers in the wind energy field, along with companies, entities, and administrations linked to this sector, to identify the main future research lines and collaboration frameworks to carry them out.
Professor Gómez Lázaro's presentation was part of the first session of the event, RESEARCH, ACADEMIA, AND KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER IN THE WIND SECTOR. The research results presented were obtained within the framework of the research projects PID2021-126082OB-C21 (funded by the State Research Agency and FEDER) and SBPLY/23/180225/000226 (funded by the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha and FEDER).
